The legal bit
Privacy notice
How we handle your personal data, in plain English. The short version: we only collect what you give us through the contact form, we use it to reply to you, and we don't sell it to anyone.
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Who we are
designLogica Ltd is a UK software studio, registered in England and Wales under company number 13287138. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. If you have any questions about it, email us at info@designlogica.co.uk.
What we collect and why
The only personal data this website collects is what you choose to give us through the contact form: your name, email address, and message, plus your company name and phone number if you include them.
We use these details for one thing: to read your enquiry and reply to you. When you press send, your details are emailed straight to our team inbox. They aren't stored in a database or added to any marketing list. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interest, since responding to people who contact us is a normal part of running the business, and it's what you'd expect to happen when you send us a message.
You can browse the whole site without giving us any personal data at all.
Security checks
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a service that checks the submission is coming from a person rather than a bot. To do that, Cloudflare processes some technical information about your browser and connection. Turnstile is designed to work without tracking you across the web, and we use it because it's necessary to keep spam and abuse out of our inbox. You can read more in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Hosting
Like most websites, our servers keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to keep the service running. We don't use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
Cookies
We don't set any advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, which is why you won't find a cookie banner here. The only cookies that may appear are ones Cloudflare sets for security purposes, and those are classed as strictly necessary, so they don't need your consent under UK law.
How long we keep your data
We keep contact enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your message, and for up to two years afterwards in case you come back to us. If an enquiry turns into a project, we'll keep the correspondence for as long as the working relationship needs it.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or trade your data, ever. The only third parties that touch it are the service providers we use to run the site and receive messages (such as Cloudflare and our email provider), and they only process it on our behalf. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are covered by recognised safeguards such as the UK's data bridge or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct it if it's wrong
- ask us to delete it
- object to us processing it, or ask us to restrict what we do with it
- ask for it in a portable format
To use any of these rights, email info@designlogica.co.uk and we'll sort it out. If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Nothing changes quietly.
